The official Website of the german Government still explicitly declares the full support to Israeli Security, as we all know the Israeli Government openly declared many times any attempt to grant palastinians their equal rights or the right to a palastinian state is their declared most serious security threat, it just didn’t create anything than empty speech. Germany didn’t recognise the rights of palastinians to a state in the boarders of 1967, it stopped funding UNRWA, most recently shared to schools a paper with a written statement: That the Nakba just been a palastinian myth.
It restricted freedom of speech, freedom of the press, politicians them self repeating already debunked Israeli Propaganda narratives, they are aiding and abetting since many years with full support and diplomatic cover the grave violations of International humanitarian law, human rights abuses, didn’t accept reports of NGO’s, which reports with overwhelming evidence and facts of the separate racist laws applied to palastinian, which amounts to a similiar system of Apartheit. Germany didn’t respect the ICJ’s provisional Orders that palastinians are a ethnic group which should be protected and prevented from serious risks of harm happen to them. From violations of the fourth geneva convention.
They didn’t adress and demand accountability for grave violations of humanitarian laws, extrajudicial killings, warcrimes etc.
They have put a harsh crackdown against protests of solidarity with the palastinian people in place. And the police and justice system harshly investigate even truth telling speech which just want to stop the violence and the war, for peace for Israeli and Palastinians as anti-semitic incitement.
There need real changes of actions be made in Germany and by politicians for a real commitment to palastinian rights.
The actual situation just denies these rights and are a systemic dehumanising discrimination.
The full support to a racist Israeli Government, which openly dehumanise palastinians and denying the palastinians the most princible human rights, are not compatible without totally adressing it and held accountability perpetrators of ICJ’s provisional Orders, violations of the geneva conventions, international humanitarian law. For the orders to use starvation as a weapon of war, which is a warcrime…
So there is a lot of work to do instead of empty words, but no change to held accountable and ending the impunity for Israels actions against the palastinians.
