in a theatre crammed full of folks it is a
sure formula for disaster for someone to
yell fire! fire!
calm folks moments before enjoying their
movie, upon hearing the warning, all start
a blitz toward the exits
many fall to the floor and are trampled by
others, others are crushed by the pressure
of the frantic crowds
some not make it out alive and many injured

so to drive relief trucks into gaza knowing
the locals will attempt to take control and
remove the cargo is a risky play
hundreds of gazans surrounding the trucks
packed in like sardines
and then someone gets the crazy idea of
firing warning shots … which works the same
as yelling fire! fire!
the gazans go frantic and disperse trampling
one another
