Would it be wrong to want for the Palestinians what Netanyahu wants for the Jews? That land ‘never’ ‘belonged’ to the Jews. Israel is a politically created land, created by the U.N., which has nothing in its charter allowing it to do so, pressured by the U.S. President Harry Truman was dupted into supporting Israel by his secretary, David K Niles, who was an extremely nice guy loved by all around him. He was also a Jewish Zionist and made certain those who supported Israel got to see Truman and non-supporters did not. Truman was even advised by his own Cabinet and military ‘not’ to recognize Israel. In his diary, he later had some regrets. I regret organizations like Hamas just as I regret organizations like Hezbollah. Of the 8/9 Jews I know, only one supports Israel’s behavior. And if “might is right”, then the U.N. and the U.S. can ‘create’ other ‘ethnic’ lands. Except for their religion, Jews are ordinary people just like everybody else; some good, some bad. I stand with Palestine.
