You’d have a valid point if there was no Balfour Declaration, and/or if the US didn’t treat Israel as its fave charity. The US & UK have tiptoed around Israel, when they should exert pressure, thereby Israeli’s would learn to appreciate they’re not dealing with useful idiots, & behave accordingly.
Given that scenario, Palestinians & Israelis would set a precedent & come to an agreement, in which case none of the Arab states would have a bone to pick with Israel. Instead, what was made unforseeable by the current Israeli govt. has now been made impossible.
The Machiaevellian Pres. [aka ‘Mr. Security’] already made peaceful resolution a forlorn hope during his tenure, & it’s led to this. He let the Oct 7 raid unfold, & he’s borne a guilty look since. Rather than own up to his mistakes, he’s determined to exploit his failings by punishing Gazans, ‘cept he sees them as “Amaleks”, which proves the point.
