Israel is confronted with multiple challenges in response to the attack from the Gaza army in October of last year. It will take a long time to weaken the militias in Gaza. It has only been about five months of war so far and still must more combat is foreseen. But Israeli military progress is ongoing and will continue. Sectioning up the Gaza Strip is helping the
Israeli military with its accomplishments. The sectioning helps to keep the civilians and the militias from travelling from governorate too governorate. By sectioning off the northern two governorates, the military is able to be more thorough in its cleaning operations of the Gaza militias. Another challenge is to keep the relief arriving without allowing the civilians to return to combat zones. And another challenge will be the exiling of the militias that are surrendering and being captured to protectorate governments that are willing to host the militias and their families.
