Israel’s decision to continue to allow worshippers to enter the Haram al-Sharif is respectful. Protecting the worshippers is important.
Wise rulers have facilitated praying. In example, Kuroš II, the Achaemenidian King of Persia; and Kanûnî Sultan Süleyman understood this need. There was a lapse, from the 1948 until 1967, when worshippers we not allowed to pray at the Buraq Wall, but then after the 1967 Arab-Israel War, the worshippers were allowed to return.
