You missed the gist of my post completely. Just for your info, I am basically a secular Jew who believes that the Ultra Religious have a right to their beliefs without being mocked by people like you. While you may have psychological effects and I have no reason to doubt it, you are basically saying that more than 50% of Jews and Israelis have no right to do what you consider a “final solution” because you disapprove of it. I personally was greatly offended by it as should the other Jewish posters on this site.
I have never brought G_d into any of my discussions and am basing my claim on Jewish history and the fact that other than Jews no one else has been sovereign in what the Romans called Palestine. The League of Nations concurred as did the US government of the day. The language is quite clear calling for a RECONSTITUTED homeland in Palestine including both sides of the River Jordan. There was never a people called Palestinians or an Arab state called Palestine. Jordan invaded in 1948 and with British help conquered Judea and Samaria and in the process massacred Jews and expelled them from these conquered areas. I don’t remember the UN, the Europeans, and the US calling for their withdrawal or return of the properties to Jews. I certainly don’t remember the USA calling it a Final Solution as in 11939-1945 as you said.
50% of the units fighting in Gaza are Haredi and if you bother to look at the news a number of them fell in battle. Neither Jordan nor Egypt claimed these territories in their peace treaties UNSC242 does not mention Palestinians but rather only Egypt, Syria, and Jordan’s High Contracting Parties (the 6-day war).
Israel has a right and obligation to flatten Gaza, eliminate Hamas, their supporters , enablers and Human shields and expel the Gaza Population so 10/07 cannot re-occur. Poland di it in 1945 as did Czechoslovakia and France. Myanmar did that as well as China , although in a more brutal way and as Russia in doing in parts of Ukraine.
When I went for officer training in 1961-2, the doctrine was total defeat and the USA killed thousands in their post 2nd war wars well outside their borders.
Finally, I do enjoy your posts and 90% are factual but occasionally you get on a tangent and decide for others what the interpretation of morality is and how to determine that morality. You want to be a friend and ally than stop making excuses for Arabs , that you have very limited knowledge about .
