For various reasons wealthier countries help out Israel’s advancements. Many Arabs have understood that Israel is an investment for them, not only for security, but also for their economies. Peace with Israel enriches both aspects for many Arabs across MENA. But of course not all are supportive of this small sliver of a country, and a few still have dreams of conquering it from the Israelis. Nothing new, the southern Levant has changed hands many times over these thousands of years. Very wise rulers from both the Persian and from Ottoman empires, have understood the need for the Jews to have security in these lands. The rulers of the ancient Roman empires, much like modern Turkish and Iranian rulers, fear a Jewish controlled society.
