You have no idea/ no recognition .. .. .. for the fact that those acquainted with 20th Century international law in both Britain and in the US: understood the 1919 US King Crane Commission conclusion and the 1922 British League Mandate undertaking represented an extraordinary close agreement, on the topic of Historic Palestine’s to-be-future political trajectory.
That US President Harry S Truman began to renege on this commitment and undertaking in 1946 and 1947, stirred considerable US Department of State consternation and foreboding.
Quite rightly so, for self interested politicians rarely serve their nation’s or their duty-in-office well 🙁
