I agree with you that ethnic cleansing of Jews in Israel occurred in the past which is why I dont’ take the position of the so-called “human rights” defenders in the dispute seriously. Much like they do Greek history with our former Yugoslavian neighbors (whom they treat as “victims’ of Greeks) they take a snapshot of the last hundred years of Israel’s history and act like that’s all of history.
