Holy books should be respected. To quote the Islam text out of context is in poor taste. But does hold context is the wars that have been fought with destruction, injuries and deaths from all sides. As with many wars, the populations and the territories become part of the new ruling regimes. For now Israel has partially defeated their enemies in war, and have gained geographically, economically and militarily. But there is not guarantee that Israel can continue to successfully defend itself, as we saw in the first day of the present war.
