As the weeks roll along, and the Gaza and West Bank jihadi militias are weakened further and further, desperation increases. Hamas must try anything to save face with the Palestinian population. Many Palestinians still are perplexed by the Hamas decision to invade Negev on the 7th of October of last year and trigger this terrible war. Some blame Hezbollah for not attacking from the north. Others blame the Houthis for remaining in Yemen. Other blame the Iranians for not infiltrating from Syria. But few Palestinians blame themselves.
