The southern Levant has been lost, has been won, through wars for thousands of years. Mid last century once again, it was partially won by the Israelis. Then again sizeable territories had been won by the Israelis in the war of 1967. Now in 2023/2024 if the current war continues in the same rate, then Israel will have captured yet another small sliver of the southern Levant. Yet we know there are no guarantees and in future wars, the Israelis could also lose territories.
