A little history–
I am sure that all these workers are all Hindus. Hinduism is the world’s oldest religion, according to many scholars, with roots and customs dating back more than 4,000 years. No love lost as Islam was first introduced in India through the Arab invasion of Sind in CE 712 and through subsequent invasions of the eleventh and twelfth centuries.
India is the most targeted Country of terrorism in the name of Islam, mostly from Pakistan. Since Modi’s reelection in 2019, the government has pushed policies that critics say ignore Muslims’ rights, as Islam remains the State religion in Pakistan giving more privileges to Muslims than to Hindus and other religious minorities that were there long before Islam.
My point is that there is no big surprise here!
