Ancient Greeks knew that the earth was round. Eratosthenes even calculated it’s circumference within 1.4 percent if its present date measured circumstance using observation and basic geometry. It was figure so remarkably precise it wasn’t matched until the 20th century.

You are muddling a lack of concreteness in one area of understanding with meaning we don’t have knowledge in any another in science… but a-la-carte simply to suit your ends. Despite the current man equals woman ridiculousness you know through science the earth is not flat. You know we have at least some understanding of electricity because you know your computer works. ith evolution, which is arguably the best and most widely supported major theory in science today, even a greater more accepted theory than our understanding of electricity, you change tunes.
A question for you… how do you explain all the evidence of evolution away? Were the fossils of earlier human species put there to trick you? Was your very DNA that links you to our animal cousins created for antisemetism? Is radioactive dating used to gauge the age of evidence a conspiracy of scientists from around the globe to get you? Is baceria cultures experiments demonstrating real world evolution in action a scam?
What makes sense. Some of the finest minds in the world today… with mountains of empirical evidence accumulated over centuries… that can create technology that would have seemed like magic to ancient peoples… are wrong about evolution?
Whereas some ancient shaman is right about Adam and Eve when they didn’t even know what a toilet was and didn’t have a shred of evidence to back up their claim? Even a little bit of objectivity on the issue will give you your answer of whom is more likely to be right Like the “women” with penises you just want to believe what you want to believe rather than what the evidence offers.
