According to modern genetics with less than 1% difference between what was once called racial groupings there are no races but the human race.
And it is impossible for a religion to create genetic markers which make a race. Absolutely, totally impossible. Where religions intermarry for long periods there are genetic markers until they die out because of genetic dysfunction.
So, no Jew would ever have existed if Judaism had not been invented, ergo, it is a religion.
What has been called race could be better described as cultural differences but, even here, no religion creates a generic culture. Put a New York, London, Addis Ababa, Bombay, Johannesburg, Edinburgh, Brussels Jew in the same room and see what I mean. Same for Christians or any religion. They have nothing in common but the religion and that does not a culture make.
