Like all groups, there are some racist Jewish national extremists too. The problem is they have a point when they say the fanatics of Hamas want to destroy Israel. The solution to this problem isn’t saying one side is all good and the other all bad. It’s to bring the moderates with a moral compass to the forefront to negotiate a fair solution. The west is supporting Israel to get rid of Hamas but the expectation is Jewish voters will kick out their own extremists from positions of power to finally cut a deal for two-state solution rather continuing to expand settlements. It’s fair that Palestinians should have a homeland just like Jews and others want for themselves.. And unhinged fanatics like Ben Gvir should not be ministers in Likud’s government. The very fact Netanyahu has a theocrat that eggs on ultra orthodox settler terrorism in his government reflects very poorly on him. Then throw in he’s trying to oppress Jewish democracy by attacking courts in Israel. And of course there is the matter of his corruption charges.
