Well the issue is 75 years old and there’s not really been any negotiation on the table.
The issue is Partition. The indigenous didn’t want it. The neighbours didn’t want it. Hence there’s terrorism born out of frustration and oppression. Think IRA in Ireland.
In the bright side the percentage of Jews in Israel has been shrinking since the 1960’s. Peaked at 89%, now down to 73%. So in the not too distant future it’ll be reunited- then we can all move along and peace and stability in the rest of the Middle East will happen.
