The sacrifices by the Israelis in terms of injuries, deaths and suffering is enormous, but compared to having repeats of the astronomical death and injury rates, that were absorbed on the 7th of October 2023, these sacrifices are needed. Imagine the kill rate of 1100/day, the injury rate of 1600/day, kidnapping rate of 250/day; if it was multiplied by 30 days of Gazans running wild killing all they could find in Israel. In only one month, it would have meant that the deaths in Israel would be 33,000, the injuries 48,000 and the kidnappings 7500. Luckily only 3000 Gazans crossed into the Negev that day, if it would have been double that number, we can only guess how many people would have been massacred.
Now the Rafah campaign will continue, to help rid Gaza of the sick-minded holy-warriors wanting to cause only pain, injury and death.
