Well am sure some Jews migrated East but they married and converted locals so the Ashkenazi are Russians, Ukraines, Poles and all sorts. A few have a tiny bit of Levantine ancestry but they are at least 80% E European, the majority are 100%. Ancestry is fascinating!
Despite having been expelled by the Spanish Inquisition 500 years ago the Sephardi still share 80% of the same ancestry as today’s Spanish.
And the Beta are overwhelmingly Ethiopian or Eritrean. The Kaifeng are Chinese.
