I believe it, when it happens.
There is just to many: “See no evil” by turning a blind eye to all the brutality in the middle east, which already forced millions out of their homes.
This is also just the latest but most severe escalation, to often, there is no follow up action after a phase of escalation, so no justice or accountability or peace process get established and the entrenchment of the parties just get hardened after every cycle of violent brutality, which just brings more suffering, more anger and grief afterward, while every time, there is no peacebuilding, no bridges towards friendly future relations between the parties, no formed sight and vision for a future of Peaceful livings close to each other and based on accepting and respecting the people of the other faction in the former times of War.
Hatred and dehumanising of the others, needs to end, real “goodwill” and willing for a Peaceful future must be the vision and goals set, as base to build on it, without entrenchment in anger, grief and hatred for all the suffering, the other side has inflicted, accountability and strictly enforced international humanitarian laws, with no injustice after all the violations and breaches of UN-Charter, the Rome statute, humanitarian law, human rights must be established
Equality of Rights must be realised, fully integrating in the civil society of the occupier or stop the occupation and let the people live their life’s, in their different civil society and not oppressed and kept from justice and/or Peacebuilding Goals set for the former enemies to rebuild another reality for the future, together!
A future in Peace equal for all in the middle east.
Till now, there is no action to stop the dehumanising and hatred brewed for years and decades to extreme forms of racism and willingness to get rid of the other peoples, that is no basis to stability after the brutal, violent phase ends…
If there is no enforcing alliance formed to bring the factions, to stop the killing, to stay calm, to hold to account and bring to justice, those who spread hate against the others, the opposite factions, in the war, they must be forced to accept and respect the others living close by and their rights and lifes of the People equally respected.
