It has been reported that April Fools’ Day 2024 attack on the Iranian annex consulate in Damas wiped out the entire command hierarchy responsible for IRGC activities in Syria and Lebanon. All were pivotal senior officers determine Hezbollah’s activities in the region. Those killed, were excessively self-confident that Israel would not dare to attack the consulate annex building in Damas. A fatal miscalculation it seems.
