During partition the UN created a Jewish state for Jews (Eastern European) only and an Arab state (secular for Jews, Muslims and Christians). Why would the Arabs accept a state in which they reward an entirely foreign people 55% of the land? You claim “real owners” dictate who is entitled to the land. At partition the Jews only owned 6% of the land of Palestine that they purchased from absentee owners.
