Whilst I don’t doubt a few Jews from Palestine moved for economics they married locals, they converted locals. So few have any Levantine ancestry and at the most that is 20%. Most have none so quite clearly Ashkenazi are E Europeans. The Sephardi are from the Iberian Peninsula. Voilá!
