Re: Reassessing US strategy in the Middle East: the rise of Iran and the overshadowed threat of China

I read the article from beginning to end and the author was making
many good points but I do not fully understand why the
US is always siding with the Jews against its best interest. One
out of four people in the world is a Muslim – which is 25% and
one out of 500 people in the world are the Jews, which is 1/5 of
1%. For every Jew in the world, there are 130 Muslims. In real
life, if your best friend is also the best friend of your worst enemy,
he immediately becomes not your friend anymore. America
tries to be the friend of the Arab and Muslim countries and at the
same time America is the best friend of the Jews . The Muslims
have huge amount of land in the world, huge amount of
resources and therefore they should get their act together and
just avoid America being their friend.
