In wartime often people are buried in temporary graves in hopes that they can be recovered later, after the wars, to have a more ceremonial funeral. But in this case, there are the massive identification of bodies by the IDF, for various reasons, including, who and how Gazans died, if there were hostages, etc.. There are still probably many temporary graves that will be unearthed during the moving of the rubble.
