You are probably right. Iran’s support of Hamas suggests It supports a single state solution.. a sole Palestinian one. They seems to want to eject Jews from the region. Along with material support that’s why Hamas loves the current Iranian regime.
One major criticism I have of Netanyahu though, he hypocritically behaves similarly with Palestinians by refusing to support a two-state solution. Even putting aside the hypocritical ethnics of the matter entirely, this is really short sighted strategic thinking for the sake of fundy fanatics like Kahanist Ben Gvir. A micro-Palestinian state isn’t a threat to Israel’s existence as Netanyahu falsely claims. As the current war shows, Israel could easily bomb it into to the stone age if a Palestinian state violated a peace treaty. I submit the argument it’s actually in Israel’s long term interests to see a successful democratic secular Palestinian state with good relations with Israel.
What is an existential threat to Israel is large Islamic countries that might one day get nukes like Iran and Turkey. A highly successful Muslim majority but still secular state with friendly relations with Israel strikes at the heart of Islamic theocracies globally. If Israel supported a micro-Palestinian state (sans Hamas and with a population exchange) it would also generate good will for Israel diplomatically globally. It would also give it the moral capital to argue convincingly for two-state solution for other states. That would include one for Kurds along with any other nations that pose an actual threat to Israel’s existence thus reducing their threat footprint.
