Post WW2, the west didn’t suddenly change its colonial mindset after having plundered the world’s resources for centuries. All it did was move to a neo-colonial ideology of dominating and controlling the resources of the non-western world to benefit their elites more indirectly, THAT is imperialism! Even the smaller EU nations with no colonial history have jumped on the neo-colonial bandwagon.
