It hopefully will be a precedent setting campaign where non combatant deaths are minimised. If nothing else, the Gazan War seems to be showing how humanitarian needs can be addressed. Complete elimination of collateral injuries and deaths is impossible, but comparing this war to all wars across the centuries, it is remarkable how precautions are made to reduce harm to the civilian population, especially when it is not clear who is civilian and who is not.
