Re: Jewish students refute claims of anti-Semitism at pro-Palestine protests

Hamas could not exist under Ottoman Turkish Islamic Rule, and both Arabs and Jews were second class citizens in the geographical area of Palestine. So your point has no relevance.

The Armenian genocide (1915–1916) refers to the physical destruction of Armenian Christian people in the Ottoman Empire. It is sometimes referred to as the first genocide of the 20th century.

Then the Greek genocide, which included the Pontic genocide, was the systematic killing of the Christian Ottoman Greek population of Anatolia which was carried out mainly during World War I and its aftermath on the basis of their religion and ethnicity.

Then came the Jewish genocide, to eliminate the Jews by the Nazis. Are you starting to see the time period you are talking about.
