Israel signed the Rome Statute on 31 December 2000 but did not ratify it. Thus, “Israel” has no right to complain if it suffers any violations…such as October 7th. In short, when a state refuses to put itself under the law, it forfeits the right to claim that its rights were violated…regardless of what actions were taken against it.
