Conflict is lucrative for many. It provides employment to all those associated with the defence and war services. The various Palestinian jihadi militias have a real economic power. But this power weakens if there is a transition towards peace. Without conflict, the Palestinian jihadis will see a great reduction of funds from Turkey, Qatar, Iran and other financing nations.
