one unfortunate aspect of the palestinians is
their tendency to be played as pawns in the
tensions of larger players
cold war tensions turned them into cannon
fodder for the various regional power plays
by the west and the soviets
then again in post-soviet era the palestinians
were played again as pawns in the wars and
shifting of radical islamic states
those that chose cooperation are slowly pro-
spering, but those that chose the pawn role
are still cashing in on refugee welfare
now the gaza jihadis are in difficulty after be-
ing once again rented out for the politics of
bigger regional players as turkey and iran
hopefully in the future the gazans will open
their eyes to building their enclave instead of
wanting to kill their neighbours
