And the persecution of Jews is a European thing. Palestinians of all religions had lived amicably together for over a thousand years. What persecution by Palestinians? The only issues Palestinians of any religion had was with foreign overlords.
And the Zionists were offered a number of other places which wouldn’t have upset the natives but dumb Americans forced it to be Palestine- it would have been more pragmatic to have given them Florida which was considerably less densely populated.
