Wars are part of societies’ balancing of life and death. There are the official wars and then those on our streets, which often we call simply violent crimes. Either way, they trigger death, injury and destruction. Since we live in the present, we often limit our understanding to the immediate, and less from the past. For millenniums the southern Levant has changed rulers and there have and still are wars. Wars will greatly diminish as the economic wealth levels of the fighting grunt belligerents become more and more similar.
