It has only been six months of war and an estimated 25% of the Hamas and PIJ fighters on varying degrees can still function. It quite easily will take a another half a year to diminish those to a workable 5%. That will mean sending away to the wealthy Hamas sponsor states, the surviving fighters and also their extended families to keep them company.
