As the hundreds and thousands of migrants continue to drown in the Mediterranean, their corpses enter into a larger food chain, where they are consumed by marine life, then the fishing industry, catches, cleans and fast freezes the marine life, for the lunch and diner tables of Europeans. So in a way, the migrants still make it to Europe, but become helpful in nourishing many species of life.
