Re: A documentary-level introduction to the 1979 Iranian Revolution

As a person who was 16 years old in 1979 Tehran and have witnessed the development, I found most of the article balanced and well informative. In the beginning you write the regime, by violating the international laws and occupying the US embassy, acted like a non-state actor than a state actor. My understanding is that the regime continued this way through the whole of its history. Too many wrong decisions on the basis of momental emotions have taken the country hundreds of years back in a time most countries of the world have had a rapid progress. Having no knowledge about diplomacy have declined the economy of the country and brought a lot of misery for the people and despite that, the regime has not even managed to fulfill its atomic program.
An important act which is not mentioned here is the aid of the US government the people around Khomeini to make sure not other forces take the power. Khomeini deceived Americans in that phase and deceived the people of Oran in the next phase.
