I’m a Both, a Realist and an Optimist.
And,
{A} – Given the last 75 years of history, I too believe that
you are correct to doubt that “Palestinian Arabs will accept a sovereign Jewish state”.
However,
{B} – If going forward from 10/7/23,
the Jewish State holds out for a permanent peace agreement and rejects anything but brief ceasefires,
then the new Gaza status quo (hunger, thirst, disease, death, destruction, displacement, etc.)
may actually force “Palestinian Arabs to accept a sovereign Jewish state”.
And,
{C} – If not now, then later after years of hunger, thirst, disease, death, destruction, and displacement,
soften Arab “Palestinian” hearts, unless GOD “hardens their hearts” as HE did to Pharoah to make a point.
