The streets of Paris were filled with Algerian immigrants in the late 1950’s – early 1960’s during the ‘troubles’ with these muslims over the Algerian War and civil rights … eh?

On October 17, 1961 there was a huge protest involving 30,000 Algerian muslims and 100 muslims were killed by the French Police … a massacre with dead bodies thrown into the Seine … full stop

The ‘troubles’ are a frequent theme with muslims in the West … whether on college campuses or the streets of NYC / Paris / London / Berlin … full stop
