Israel is an occupying force, and therefore has no right under international law to defend itself, because that right is exclusively related to an attack from the outside and not from the inside. Also, Israel, as an occupying power, is obliged to take care of the civilian population in the territory it occupies and not to demolish civilian infrastructure. Armed resistance against the occupier is permitted under international law.
Stop the occupation and then demand whatever you want…
