Like all the other ME countries who pay lip service, the Saudis are using the Palestine issue for their own means.
They want to use it as leverage on the US to coax the US into arms sales and nuclear power.
No one does anything for nothing and the Saudis are no different.
Saudis want to be seen as the ME leaders, and not look like pushovers for the US, or the West.
