The extreme language and rhetoric of violence coming from the Israeli state, from Netanyahu’s far right wing cabinet, a range of Israeli public figures & the representatives of the West Bank extremist settlers, across all public media platforms, in last months has been truly extraordinary & yet receives so little critical analysis from western msm. This language & rhetoric of violence against Palestinians has repeatedly & openly called for systematic collective punishment & pursuit of ethnic cleansing. It is very interesting that it is South Africa, who have now formally filed for genocide claims against Israel at UN/ICJ, as South Africa carries the moral legacy of defeating the systematic state violence & repression of the former SA Apartheid regime, & is uniquely positioned at UN in this respect.
