Oh, spare me that jive-ɑssed crɑp. People have been trying to deny the Jewish People its rightful patrimony for millennia, and this slimy — and oh-SO-tiresome — attempt is just one more in a multitude. In the end, they all failed.

There are all kinds of things wrong with Revelation — not the least of which is that the so-called ‘Jesus’ referred to therein is completely OUT OF CHARACTER w/ the Jesus of the gospels. So is the linguisitic style and manner of speaking attributed to him in Revelation.
The fact is that Revelation‘s authenticity has LONG been subject to challenge. It was squeezed into the canon in the 4th century, and barely made it into the lineup. Over the centuries, it continued to draw the ire of critics, from theologians to scholars to churchmen. To this very day, Eastern Orthodox sects (among others) decline to even USE Revelation in public worship.

The Pharisees of Christ’s day were not ‘impostors,’ but their leadership were often personally shallow, and THAT is the import of Jn 8:44 — it has nothing to do w/ the Jewish People of the era, a great many of whom, as the gospel shows, were quite fond of JC.
Jesus actually had several friends among the Pharisees. (Nicodemus & Joseph of Arimathea are two who come readily to mind.)
In any case, to call them ‘Zionist progenitors’ is beyond absurd: it’s preposterous, and speaks more to YOUR prejudices than theirs.

Most mainstream scholars have long agreed that these verses [1 Thess 2:13-16] are fake. Paul never wrote this. The whole passage is far more likely an INTERPOLATION, added by purportedly ‘Christian’ scribes half-a-century (or more) later.
