I understand your argument Rob but I want to make a couple points.
The problem is with Zionism. Correct. The super majority of “Jews” though adhere/support Zionism. The religion that the majority of “Jews” follow today is not the belief/worship of God and the tenants of Judaism. They practice the religion of Jewish nationality. The “Jews” today do not believe in God – they believe in Zionism. They do not worship God – they worship Israel.
So your argument about this not being about religion is both correct and incorrect. Is it about Judaism, the religion. No. Is it about Zionism/Israel and the religion of Jewish nationality. Yes.
Judaism is religion, not a nationality/race. Yet today you have people who claim to be part of a Jewish race or a Jewish nation. You have people who claim to be half-Jewish. You have people today who claim to be atheists but are still somehow “Jews”. These are statements of pure absurdity. Without logic and without reason. Nonetheless the majority of these irrational and illogical people refer to themselves as “Jews”. So it is a “Jewish” problem. Just depends on how you define “Jew”.
