Re: ‘Clean out that whole thing’: Trump proposes relocating Palestinians outside Gaza – Middle East Monitor

Since the Romans sacked Jerusalem 2000 years ago, the geographical area of Palestine has changed hands more than a Las Vegas gambler.

UNRWA definition of a Palestine refugee in 1952: “A Palestine refugee is [a person] whose normal residence was Palestine for a [minimum period of two years] preceding the outbreak of the conflict in 1948 and who, as a result of this conflict has lost both his home and his means of livelihood.” –Today there are approximately six million so-called Palestinian refugees registered with UNRWA and it grow faster every year as Palestinian Arab refugees are the only refugees in the world whose status is permanently inherited.

As you can see, the definition of “refugees” omitted the reference to persons of Arab origin in the 1948 General Assembly proposal, and included all stateless persons who had been residents of Palestine for a minimum of two years.

Arafat would not take any offers all his years unless these millions of so-call refugees were allowed to return to Israel proper, which he knew was not mathematically feasible.
