Shafiks crackdowns were her undoing. Totally unconstitutional.
She undoubtedly realized that the motive was never anti-Semitism, but a just demand for a ceasefire and divestment.
That said, kudos to her for resigning prior to the start of Fall classes and the inevitable Fall encampments.
