It definitely exposes the difference of systemic abuses and violations, dehumanising of another people to the extent where such systemic violations are normalised.
But because the root cause is so deeply settled trough propaganda, narrative and hate-speech, anything which got exposed of: “Didn’t fit’s the ever told narrative is a schocking incident to learn, i just doesn’t change anything because if dehumanising is just so normal, there is no sense of humanity to think of those dehumanised, psychological behavior of group dynamics, those who dare to talk and think about the dehumanised in equal sense of humanity then your own people got threats, accused of a sort of treason of sedition. It didn’t stops or changes the systemic behavior.
That is why it wouldn’t change if there is no hamas, the other is accused of being a possible terrorist a possible thread, definitely suspicious not any acceptable trust in them.
This is the scale of ever told narrative which kicks in and comes to mind whenever there is talk or thinking of the other, individual, as a group, as part of their identity or behaviors.
