Indeed, Peepsqueek: For Egypt/Syria/Jordan have ever-been, at best, potential guardians for Palestine’s future. Failed guardians, led astray by devastatingly-failed UN Resolution 181 aberration.
Personally speaking, I consider it foolish to describe this-Palestine as “Arab” – for as I have amply sought to demonstrate on these pages: Palestine is a ‘complex’, some 1,000,000 million years in the making ((at the very least, for the earliest Hominids that departed Africa are dated prior to 1,600,000 BP – and the probable migration path taken at that distant time, by that distant-collective would likely have included Africa’s Rift Valley)). And ‘a complex of contemporary cultures’ that assuredly date to the earliest excavated sites of Jericho, of Gaza-Petra; to the last Ice Age collective-foragers of contemporary Syria and Turkiye; and to the opening days of Egyptian agricultural enterprise.
You? Would evidently look to resurrect the narrowness of “The Old Book” in this Land.
Whereas I? Personally favour the Pauline-with-Christ New Edition (consistently questioning, why Revelations were ‘understood by Rome’ to have relevance – for Christendom).
