In reality, for many years al Nusra terrorists were gifted sanctuary and protection by Israel, located in an enclave under easternmost edge of Golan Heights. Israel provided, IDF long range artillery over-cover to protect the enclave from SAA, Israel also supplied munitions, food, medical kits, medical evac to Israeli public hospitals for serious casualties, & even monthly wage payments by the end, all stumped up for by the Israeli state.
